The Race City Festival has long been a beloved Mooresville tradition and a proud partnership between the Town of Mooresville and the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce. In 2026, it joins forces with the Mooresville Day Festival for a dynamic mash-up!
* Food Trucks & Breweries
* Family Fun Zone
* Live Performances
* Local Vendors
Two Great Events. One Epic Experience.
Taking over Downtown Mooresville, this reimagined celebration blends the best of both festivals into one high-energy day. Guests can explore a vibrant mix of local artisans, community organizations, and businesses, enjoy live music and entertainment, and indulge in a wide variety of food, all while experiencing attractions and family-friendly activities. As part of the nationwide America250 celebration, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this year’s event also highlights Mooresville’s deep-rooted heritage as Race City, USA, adding a meaningful layer of history and pride to the festivities. Drawing thousands of residents and visitors, this combined festival creates an even bigger, more engaging way to celebrate the spirit, culture, and connection of Mooresville.
