This November, the Town of Mooresville invites you to honor the men and women who have served our country by participating in one of Mooresville’s Veterans Week events. The Flag Processional & Ceremony kicks things off on November 3. A highlight of the week is the Veterans Day Parade on November 11, which is expected to draw strong community support, with many coming out to show their appreciation for our veterans. The event promises to be a heartfelt display of gratitude for those who have served.

Monday, November 3 - POW/MIA Flag Processional & Ceremony | 9 a.m. Join us in honoring the sacrifices of prisoners of war and those missing in action. The processional will begin in front of Richard’s Coffee Shop (165 N. Main Street) and continue to Town Hall (413 N. Main Street), where a commemorative ceremony will be held.
Thursday, November 6 - Veterans Breakfast | 8 - 10 a.m. Veterans and their families are invited to a complimentary breakfast hosted by the Top of the Lake Rotary Club at the Charles Mack Citizen Center (215 N. Main Street). This is a time to come together, share stories, and enjoy a warm meal. RSVP is required to secure your spot. Please RSVP by October 31, 2025. Saturday, November 8 - One Nation Under God Luncheon | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Hosted by the Exchange Club of Mooresville/Lake Norman, this annual luncheon honors veterans with a free meal behind Richard’s Coffee Shop (165 N. Main Street). Each veteran may bring one guest.
Tuesday, November 11 - Glenwood Park Memorial Ceremony | 11 a.m. Gather at Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Drive) for a special memorial ceremony honoring local veterans.
Tuesday, November 11 - Veterans Day Parade – Honoring Hometown Heroes | 1 p.m. Mooresville’s annual Veterans Day Parade is a highlight of the week. The community is invited to honor local veterans as the parade makes its way down Main Street. Main Street will be closed to traffic before and during the parade. Tuesday, November 11 - Groundbreaking Ceremony | 2 p.m. Join Building Homes for Heroes, the Town of Mooresville, and Lowe's as they break ground on a brand-new site for homes in Mooresville. (235 N. Maples St. Mooresville, NC)
Tuesday, November 11 - Groundbreaking Celebration | 2:30 p.m. After the Building Homes for Heroes Groundbreaking Ceremony, the celebration continues at Liberty Park (255 E. Iredell Ave.)! Enjoy live music by Rob Cole from "The Voice", a thrilling Paratrooper landing, food trucks, fun activities, plus more. Bring your family and friends and join the community as we honor our veterans and celebrate this incredible new chapter in Mooresville.
Thursday, November 13 - "Be Someone's Hero" Blood Drive | 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Honor our veterans by participating in a blood drive at Richard’s Coffee Shop (165 N. Main Street). Your donation can save lives and is a great way to give back to those who have served.
