This November, the Town of Mooresville invites you to honor the men and women who have served our country by participating in one of Mooresville’s Veterans Week events. The Flag Processional & Ceremony kicks things off on November 2. A highlight of the week is the Veterans Day Parade on November 11, which is expected to draw strong community support, with many coming out to show their appreciation for our veterans. The event promises to be a heartfelt display of gratitude for those who have served.

Monday, November 2 - POW/MIA Flag Processional & Ceremony | 9 a.m. A solemn flag procession from Richard’s Coffee Shop (165 N. Main St.) to Town Hall (413 N. Main St.), honoring POWs and MIAs.
Thursday, November 5 - Veteran's Breakfast | 8 - 10 a.m. The Top of the Lake Rotary Club hosts a free breakfast for veterans and families at the Charles Mack Citizen Center (215 N. Main St.). Reservation required.
Saturday, November 7 - "One Nation Under God" Veterans Luncheon | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Hosted by Richard’s Coffee Shop, this luncheon, sponsored by the Exchange Club, is free for veterans and one guest.
Wednesday, November 11 - Glenwood Park Memorial Ceremony | 11 a.m. A remembrance ceremony at Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr.).
Wednesday, November 11 - Veterans Day Parade | 1 p.m. Mooresville’s annual Veterans Day Parade is a highlight of the week. The community is invited to honor local veterans as the parade makes its way down Main Street. Main Street will be closed to traffic before and during the parade. Sunday, November 22 - Letters From Home | 2 p.m. Experience the music and spirit of the 1940s with Letters From Home, a high-energy musical show featuring powerful vocals, impressive tap dancing and a witty, modern twist on wartime entertainment. Blending classic songs with humor and heartfelt tributes to veterans and military families, this uplifting performance promises an entertaining afternoon for audiences of all ages. Catch the show on Sunday, November 22, at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in downtown Mooresville.
